Learning Network West is currently funded by 12 Local Authorities and five Higher Education Institutes to support the Practice learning and development of Social and Health Care professionals across the west of Scotland. We also have discreet funding from the Scottish Government to deliver leadership skills development in four pilot West of Scotland local authorities.
Learning Network West maintain partnership work with a range of stakeholders including SSSC, Iriss and the Scottish Government. We are a charity company limited by guarantee.
Our work predominately focuses on three areas:
- Practice Learning
- Mental Health Award
- Supporting learning and Development
Learning Network has to focus its resources within a tight financial framework but the emphasis for growth will remain on supporting local learning and development engagement for and with health and social care staff.
